Free Customer Survey Tool

What could be better – here’s a quick and free tool for learning why people came to your website and whether they successfully accomplished what they set out to do.

Called 4Q, it helps answer 4 basic questions:
1. How satisfied are your web site visitors?
2. What did your web site visitors come to your site to do?
3. Did they successfully accomplish what they wanted to?
4. What are they saying in open-ended commentary?

When visitors arrive at your site, they’re invited to participate in the survey after their session. If they accept, the survey is then launched in a separate window, which waits in the background until the session is completed. You can control what percentage of your visitors receive the invitation.

I confess I haven’t tried the service myself, so I can’t vouch for it personally. I learned of it in a speech by Alan Rimm-Kaufman of The Rimm-Kaufman Group, so the recommendation came from a highly reputable source. Looks like it’s well worth a try!

I’ll try it out and tell you what I think!

Thanks for the tip. The closest thing I have seen to this is people creating their own polldaddy surveys, but this is a much more elegant solution.

Terrific! Glad you found it helpful. I’m looking forward to hearing how it goes.
